Pebble Beach Auctions For The BMW i8 Went Crazy!

We have also come across inside information that the BMW's Annual Pebble Beach auction wasn't for the fainthearted. BMW was auctioning a one off custom i8 with a custom interior, a Pebble Beach stitching and a frozen grey exterior.
The bidding started and didn't stop. The new custom BMW i8 went for a jaw dropping £516,000 or $825,000. This makes this car the most expensive i8 on the planet at the moment.
But if you fancy owning one when BMW can Manufacture the i8's to the demand, you can pick one up from £95,000 or in the US $135,000.
We think that the buzz around the new and unique BMWi8 is a good thing for electric and hybrid cars in general.
